英国唯一のプロビルダーが5カ月間かけて完成
ジャガー・ランドローバーは、新型ディスカバリーの世界初披露イベントを、英国ソリハルにて非常にユニークなかたちで開催した。会場には580万5846個のレゴブロックを使用して高さ13mのロンドンの観光名所「タワーブリッジ」を製作、ギネス世界記録を樹立したのである。
この記録は、これまでの記録を47万646個凌ぐもの。使用されたレゴブロックをすべて一列に並べると、その距離は200マイル（約322km）にもおよび、これはロンドンのタワーブリッジからパリまでの距離に相当する。
レゴブロックで製作されたタワーブリッジは、英国唯一のレゴ認定プロビルダーであるダンカン・ティットマーシュ氏と彼の専門チームが5カ月間かけて完成させ、新型ディスカバリーの製造拠点となるランドローバーのソリハル工場にほど近い、英国ウィリックシャーのパッキントン・ホール敷地内に設置された。
イベントでは、英国の冒険家ベア・グリルス氏が巨大なレゴブロック製タワーブリッジの上部から降り立つパフォーマンスを披露。さらにランドローバーBARのプリンシパルであるベン・エインズリー卿が、セイリングチームのメンバーを率いて新型ディスカバリーをドライブし、タワーブリッジの下に設けた水深900mmの水場を移動しながら登場、会場を大いに盛り上げた。
