11月15日、GMはキャデラックの新モデル「キャデラック CT6 Plug-In Hybrid（プラグインハイブリッド／PHV）」を発表した。米国での発売は2017年春を予定しており、価格は7万5095ドル（約820万円）。
パワートレインは2.0リッター直4ターボガソリンエンジン＋電気モーター2基という構成で、合計335hp（250kW）/586Nmを発生。0-60mph（約97km/h）加速は5.2秒で、65MPGe（約27.6km/L）の燃費と400マイル（約644km）以上の走行距離を達成している。また、電気モーターは各100hp（74.5kW）を発生し、バッテリーを使用するEVモードでも約30マイル（約48.3km）の走行距離と78mph（約126km/h）の最高速度が確保されているという。
装備面では、リアシートインフォテインメントシステムやエンハンスドナイトビジョン、リアカメラミラーなどが標準装備されるとのことだ。
なお、日本で販売中のCT6は、340ps/386Nmを発生する3.6リッターV6ガソリンエンジンを搭載するAWD仕様で、価格は998万円。同等モデルの米国価格は8万4460ドルとなっており、同じレートで販売されるとすると、CT6 Plug-In Hybridの日本価格は約890万円と見込まれる。
